The Virtual Meetup Grant is a part of the AfriLabs Hubs Learning Week under the AfriLabs Capacity Building Programme (ACBP). The ACBP is a 36-month intensive capacity building program designed by AfriLabs for African tech hubs to improve their capacity to support the growing number of startups and MSMEs in their communities across Africa. It is supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) through the Digital Africa seed fund.
AfriLabs is calling its member hubs who participated in the just-concluded AfriLabs Hubs Learning Week Series 5 to apply for the fifth round of the Virtual Meetup grants. The grant of 2,000 euros will be awarded to three (3) successful hubs to execute Virtual Meetups targeted at developing sustainable and innovative fundraising ideas within their communities.
Eligibility
Only AfriLabs member Hubs who were represented at the French and English webinar on “Think sustainability! Innovative fundraising ideas for African-based hubs” during the Learning Week Series 5 held on the 22nd March, 2021 are qualified to apply for the Virtual Meetup grants.
